This privacy policy explains what information LootCode (the "site", "we", "us") collects when you visit, how it is used, and the choices you have. LootCode is a free, fan-made database of Roblox game codes. It does not require an account, does not sell anything, and does not ask for personal information to use any part of the site.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to register, log in, or fill in forms to read or copy codes. The site itself does not collect names, email addresses, Roblox usernames, or payment details.

Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested: your IP address, browser type, device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the time of the request. These server logs are used to keep the site running, to detect abuse, and to understand aggregate traffic. They are kept for a limited time and are not combined with any other data to identify you.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use that information only to reply to you and, where you report a code, to re-test it. We do not add you to any mailing list.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. LootCode does not set cookies of its own for tracking. Cookies may be set by the third-party services described below, in particular advertising networks and analytics providers. You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking them entirely or deleting them after each session. Doing so does not stop the site from working.

Advertising

We may display advertising to cover the cost of hosting and testing codes. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

Analytics

We partner with Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site through behavioural metrics, heatmaps, and session replay, so we can prioritise which games to test and fix pages that are hard to use. Clarity captures how you interact with pages (clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement) and may use first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies to do so. Text you type into form fields is masked by default. We use this data for site improvement and, where advertising is enabled, in aggregate for measurement. Children's privacy

Roblox is popular with younger players, and we take that seriously. LootCode is a general-audience website that does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. There are no accounts, comments, or forms that ask for personal details. Advertising on the site is configured to comply with applicable children's privacy rules. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Game pages may link to the game's page on Roblox and to official developer channels such as Discord or X. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data. We never ask for, and you should never enter, your Roblox password anywhere to redeem a code.

How we use and share information

We use the limited information described above to operate the site, keep it secure, measure traffic, respond to messages, and display advertising. We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the service providers that make the site work, such as our hosting, analytics, and advertising partners, and only to the extent needed for those services, or where the law requires it.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Because the site holds almost no personal data, most requests will concern email correspondence, which we will delete on request. To exercise any of these rights, contact us. Data security and retention

The site is served over HTTPS. Server logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operations. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and are then deleted.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add a new service or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
